UPLOAD YOUR PICTURES
One of the nice things about digital photography is that you can upload your picture files to our store via the internet, and we can print them for you.   Your digital images are printed with the same equipment and on the same kind of photographic paper as are your rolls of film.   That means they will last a long time without fading, and the color will look the same as with your film pictures. We can send them back to your house*, or you can pick them up at the store in as little as 2 hours after placing your order!** * UPS charges will apply. Coupon orders must be picked up at store. ** Service times depend on lab capacity. Call after submiting order for accurate pick-up time. It's really quite easy, but there are a few things you should know before you start: The first time you initiate the upload process, you will be asked to install software on your computer. This a plug-in program that expands your browsers capability to facilitate the upload process. Once this is installed you will be able to upload your pictures, and you won't have to repeat this step. NEW: Our new upload software will require that you install Microsoft's Silverlight from their website. Silverlight is a new interface that allows us to offer you more options such as cropping & color correction when you order your prints. The link to that site is on the page that will open when you click "Upload Prints". Be carefull to click the link that says "Download the Free Plug-In" when you hover your mouse pointer over it. (You can also download the Silverlight developers' tools from Microsoft's site.) FAQ's ABOUT UPLOADINGQ. What file formats can you print?A. We can make prints from .jpg or .tiff. Most cameras will only use .jpg, .tiff, or .raw. We cannot make prints from raw files. If you have raw files, you should convert them to .tiff or .jpeg before uploading. Q.Are my originals removed from my computer? A. No, only a copy will be uploaded to our server. Q. What's the biggest print size I can order? A. The more mega pixels your camera has the bigger the print you can make and still get good quality. You should always set your camera at maximum resolution if you expect to make prints. You can match your camera against this chart, or you can watch the smiley faces next to the print sizes on the order page. A smile means it's OK to order that size and a frown means you might not like the quality.
Q. How much do pictures cost? A. Current prices will be displayed as you order prints. You can view a price list of many of our lab services here. Please note that not all sevices are available online. Remember Woodward Camera VIP Cardholders receive 10% off all print orders! Q. Can I crop or adjust my images when I order prints? A.Yes. When ordering your prints you can make adjustments to cropping and color, as well as adding borders and more. Simply click the "View" button that appears when you hover your mouse pointer over an image. A larger view of the image will be displayed along with some extra buttons including one that says "Edit Photo". Click on the edit photo button to make your changes. Keep in mind that due to monitor calibrations, color corrections may not yield expected results. Q.Can I order my pictures with borders?
